Yes! KeyboardSFX works with any keyboard - laptops, external keyboards, mechanical or membrane. The global keyboard hook captures keystrokes system-wide regardless of the hardware you're using.
You can either use a virtual audio cable (like VB-Cable or VoiceMeeter) to route KeyboardSFX output to OBS, or simply let KeyboardSFX play through your speakers/headphones and capture it via desktop audio in OBS. The app also supports selecting specific output devices for maximum flexibility.
Absolutely! KeyboardSFX supports custom themes using WAV, MP3, OGG, and FLAC audio files. Create a theme folder with your sound files, configure the mapping in a simple JSON file, and you're ready to go. You can even share your creations on Steam Workshop!
